What we've been up to?

Blakely says "HI!"

Miss B. got a new PINK stroller to go out and about town in...

We had playgroup at our house, Blakely and Preston like playing together!
Blakely tried to sit in her old bouncer but was too BIG! She loved when I turned on the vibrating action, it was like a massage!

Then she helped rock Preston to sleep...

Blakely had her first ER visit due to a high fever...but all checked out okay!

This is what I see most of the time, Blakely on the move, crawling ALL over!

She stopped to pose for a few pictures.

Showed me her pouty lip.

and then moved on to play with her doggie!

We have been having lots of fun around this busy house. Things are go go go...but Blakely is such a good baby and goes with the flow so well! She must be laid back like her Daddy! Blakely had a few rough days with some HIGH fevers but now we are all better and she is so active and fun! She is talking up a storm, saying mama more and more and crawling everywhere. She pulls up on anything she can find and also keeps taking a few more steps each time! We are hopeful for a walker by her 1st birthday! All adventure has lead to a few bruises on her head which probably hurts me more than her. Neal has been on a BUSY rotation but things are winding down and we are headed on vacation soon and look forward to some family time together for the three of us!

Easter Sunday!

Here is Blakely's Easter basket that the Easter bunny dropped off! Some bath toys, a glow-worn, baby food, sippy cups, the Runaway bunny book, pjs and a bunny!

Her basket!

Daddy tickling her...cracking up!

Blakely loves her Daddy!

The fam

Look at those LIPS! It looks like a bee stung her or something! ha!

This bunny was getting a little sleepy after playing in the nursery!

I had to put this picture up, it looks like she is picking her nose! She is going to kill me someday! Actually, I think that I got her mid-scratch!

The hunt begins...from the safety of the blanket of course because a certain someone can't stand touching the grass!

Got one...now what?

Blakely found her Easter basket and started going through it.

Smiling at her bunny!

Kissing her glow-worm.

STANDING with her Easter Basket! Such a big, grown up girl! What a face!

Daddy helping out with the hunt!

Mmmm....these Easter eggs are good! The Easter Bunny hid Blakely's favorite blueberry puffs inside!

Putting the eggs in her basket.

Eating Easter dinner....

Shoving Easter Dinner in! ha!
We had a great Easter morning, got up and went to church. Blakely went to the nursery so that we could enjoy church. We stopped on our way home and grabbed some Kolaches for brunch! yummy! Then we came home for our Easter Egg hunt! Blakely did good and sorta got the idea of picking up the eggs, but instead of putting them in the basket she just wanted to put them all in her mouth! and she is not liking the feel/texture of grass right now! Then Neal took Blakely to his families house while I went to work and then I meet up with them at my parent's house and we had dinner there and Blakely went on another egg hunt! She found some eggs and her Easter basket at my parents, that had some fun toys, a book and a cute outfit in it! It was a great Easter and we enjoyed the day!

Easter Egg Hunt

The Saturday before Easter, my mom, sister and I took Blakely up to the park by our house where they were having an Easter Egg hunt! We got there right as it started and Blakely got to work on gathering eggs...the only problem was that she does not like the grass! When we sit her down on it, she reaches over to touch it and then starts to cry! haha! I don't know what it is about? Also, she won't stand, walk or crawl when she is wearing shoes so it pretty much ended up, us gathering eggs and handing them to her to put into her Easter basket! Next year will be much better, I think. Also, you were suppose to be 1 year old but we fibbed and said that she was old enough...I think that she can pass for it!

Her loot...

Ewww...grass.

Got some eggs.

What is in here?

Our little sailor!

I was so excited to find this cute sailor outfit on sale this Spring, it has a cute hat that goes with it too!

Here are our other "babies." They have done so well with Blakely and put up with her petting "grabbing" their fur! Avery especially loves to give Blakely kisses all over!

Tucker is very gentle with Blakely and always comes over to where she is to check on her if she is upset or crying. They are going in to the groomers this week for a long over due haircut to get ready for this summer!
