She just LOVES to be held upright on your chest and I LOVE it too! She scrunches her little legs up underneath her...so cute!

Blakely and I went on a lunch date and then to Hallmark and she picked out this snowman ornament. She said that she wanted a snowman for Christmas!

Daddy and Amelia in the Moby wrap! I was doubtful about this wrap and how complicated it is supposed to be but it has been great for us! Amelia loves to held upright and snuggled close so it works well and even Neal will put it on! (at home) haha.

Christmas Decorating

Since Neal was still off work we took some time to put up the Christmas tree and decorations! It took a little bit longer this year with the girls "helping" us but it was fun to see Blakely get into putting on ornaments and looking at the decorations. She really liked the advent tree this year.

The fam on Thanksgiving!

We are so grateful that our families were able to get together and celebrate Thanksgiving. It made it really easy and nice for us to just go to one place and get to spend time with everyone. We have so much to be thankful for and we count our blessings every day!

Thanksgiving morning at home

We spent Thanksgiving morning at home just hanging out.

Blakely read her Jayhawk book to us. She is well trained and says "Boo Tigers!" and gives a thumbs down and then says "Go Jayhawks!" Love it!

Saw this cute idea on Pinterest to take a picture next to your child's head and since everyone says that Blakely and I look alike we gave it a shot!

Blakely and Daddy gave it a try! We need to work on our photography skills. But, still pretty safe to say that she looks like Mommy!

Amelia's First Bath!

We just did a sponge bath since her belly button had not fallen off yet.

She was so good, just started at us and she really liked having her hair washed.

Blakely loves to "help" when I go to change Amelia on her changing pad. She pulls up her step-stool and entertains the baby or gets the wipes out for me! She is such a helpful big sister. She always is saying "I think Amelia is poopy!" haha!

Blakely also loves to "hold" Amelia! She asks to hold her often.

Crazy girl! She turns her head this way a lot when sleeping so it makes me wonder if that is how she was positioned in utero?!?!
