Afternoon with Daddy

When I was working one afternoon, Neal and Blakely got out the sprinklers and had some fun outside!

Here is what we have been up to...

Swimming lessons! Blakely did such a great job and I really enjoyed watching her get more comfortable and learn new things in the water.

She is a little fish and fearless in the water. She learned how to get in and out of the water, how to float on her front and back and kick, jumping in and going under water along with lots of other things!

She usually takes a favorite toy or doll or stuffed animal into bed with her at bedtime but this night she wanted ALL her babies! haha.

Lake Vacation

The weekend after Neal finished residency we headed down to the lake for some much needed R&R! Neal, Blakely and I went down early and spent some time together and then my parents and Kandace and Matthew came and joined us.

Blakely took a good nap on the way there, so she was ready to GO when we arrived!

We headed to the kids pool area. It was awesome, it had a lazy river and a splash park that Blakely loved.

I wish this picture wasn't so dark but if you can tell they are both smiling exactly the same way...so cute!

The next morning we were up at the pool again and Blakely was ready in her shades.

That night Nannie and Papa arrived.

4th of July

We headed out to my parents house to BBQ and watch the fireworks on the golf course for the 4th this year. But, first we went to the pool to cool down.
