Daycare's Holiday Party!

Blakely's daycare had a Holiday party the week before Christmas that Neal and I were invited to! We did a fun activity and then the kids did a book exchange. It was so nice to spend time with her teachers, friends and the other parents!

December Fun!

Things have been busy at the Anson house this month! Here is some of what we have been up to...

Lots of driving around the house since its so cold outside!

We have the annual Anson Christmas over at Neal's Uncle Stuarts and Aunt Jan's. They got Blakely a cute stuffed animal from Build a Bear. Blakely named her Gabby!

Blakely loves carrying a "purse" around, so Aunt Brandi filled up this gift bag with candy/crackers and it kept Blakely occupied for a while!

Visiting Santa!

Neal, Blakely and I went to visit Santa at Crown Center last week. Before you visit with Santa they have a Crayola world that the kiddos can explore. Blakely loved it!

Well she loved it until we got to the Santa part...she was NOT a fan this year!

So we took at family Santa picture! Maybe next year will go better...

Advent Tree and Nana's Birthday!

We have been busy in December! Blakely helped us eat some cookies (see her right hand) and put up our advent tree! Cookie is her FAVORITE word!

Blakely's 1st Haircut!

I had a hair appointment scheduled so we decided to have Blakely come along to get her 1st haircut! Funny story, we did save a lock of hair from her cut and I put it into a while envelope and sealed it. Later that day Neal cleaned up the kitchen table and threw it away!!! So, Neal had to go through the trash to find her lock of hair, it was in the recycling bin all clean, safe and sound!

Holiday Baking!

Neal was out of town last weekend so Blakely and I thought it would be fun to get together with my sister and mom to do some Holiday baking! We made lots of yummy goodies to share!

Getting started. Blakely helped us unpack our supplies.

She also helped with some stirring with LOTS of supervision.

Then it was time to roll some cookie dough.

Blakely pressed the cookie shapes into the dough.

then she added some more flour

and got a little on herself!

Blakely decided to taste a little bit. I don't think she was too fond of it!

Now it was time for decorating, she added a few sprinkles to the cookies.

and then enjoyed some yummy cookies!
