Cabo

Here are a few or maybe LOTS of pictures from our trip to Cabo for our 5th Anniversary! It was a great trip with lots of relaxing!

Here was the towel animal that greeted us in our room.

The view from our room. Heaven....We slept with the door open all week and through the screen door heard the waves crashing, it was very soothing!

We felt right at home when saw these three doggies walking up the beach!

Our dinner at the Fusion restaurant, it was yummy and my favorite restaurant the whole week. It was very romantic too!

The beach outside the hotel.

Neal getting his feet into the water. We were warned multiple times that you can't swim in the water due to the strong undercurrents.

This is the HUGE wave that knocked Neal down and almost swept him away to sea. It even came up to where I was sitting on the beach with all of our stuff, thank GOD I had the camera in my hand after taking this picture.

Hanging at the pool.

Neal enjoyed these water loungers in the pool. We both spent a lot of time in them.

The view of the pool, it was really big which was nice and you did not feel crammed next to people even though there were a ton of people there.

Another picture of the view from our hotel room.

A view in the other direction of the famous Cabo rocks.

On our way to dinner one night.

After dinner we hung out at a bar and had some drinks and we kept thinking that we saw "Ron Jeremy" see the guy in the pink shirt in the background so we took a incognito picture. Don't think it was "Ron" after all but oh, well....

In downtown Cabo at "Cabo Wabo."

They are famous for their tequila, so we tried a bit!

Cheers! It was pretty good and much needed after walking around downtown in HOT weather in the middle of the day!

Dinner at the Mexican restaurant, it had the best view!
More pics to come from the second part of the week!

Cute-ness!

Who knows what Blakely is doing here...but she sure is cute! My best guess it that she was tired because sometimes when she starts to get sleepy she will lay her head down on something, usually its the floor but the ottoman works too!

This is Blakely showing us her belly button - it's our new favorite question at our house! We say "Blakely, where is your belly button?" and then she lifts up her shirt and pushes on it! Don't know if this is the best thing to be encouraging....haha!

Blakely climbing up on her chair, she is a little monkey! All over everything and she LOVES to get up and down, up and down - over and over again!

Crown Center!

I have been wanting to take Blakely up to Crown Center forever and we finally found a day that Neal and I were both off. We had a great time and look forward to going again soon.

First we started off at Crayola Cafe and had some lunch. Blakely spent some time coloring before eating. She is really starting to get the hang of coloring pictures and scribbles all over the page.

Daddy and Blakely

Her "crayola" drink. She was obsessed with it and would have drank the whole thing at once if we would have let her.

Yummy! She loved her apple juice in her special cup.

"Mommy I love this drink!"

"I think I'll have some more."

Then after a necessary quick outfit change we headed to the Clifford exhibit. Blakely and I had gone a few weeks before this and she loved it so we decided to show it to Daddy.

It was very kid friendly and good for her age, there were lots of little stations with different activities for kids of all ages to do!

"Where's Avery and Tucker?"

Going down the Clifford slide, a big hit!

Picking the flowers, she always sniffs flowers - real or fake - whenever she sees any, its pretty cute!

Sitting on Clifford!
We had such a fun day and enjoyed being able to take our whole family!

Our Family Trip to the Lake!

At the end of August we headed down the the lake for some down time over a long weekend. Neal, Blakely and I headed down early Friday morning and spent some time at the pool and lounging around and eating some yummy Rizzo's pizza. My parents joined us later that night.

Playing in her new floaty.

Grandpa, Blakely and Neal

You can see Blakely doing the "I don't know" sign that we taught it, it is so funny to see her do it!

The crazy group fawning over the baby!

Having "fun" with Mommy in the tube!

Some alone time at the pool, my parents took Blakely up for a nap!

Having fun with the grandparents in the pool.

Walking around with Daddy!

Daddy helping her back in.

Our family in the pool! It was hot out so it was nice to hang out in the water.

Mommy sneaking in some kisses!

About ready for her nap.

and she's out...

A great view from the condo.

It was so nice to get away and relax at the lake.

Playing dominos - my family's new obsession.

The next morning Blakely was being very lovey! Hugs for Daddy!

Grandpa snuggles.

Giving Nana kisses.

We ended our trip at the outlets and Blakely took a ride on one of the toys. ha!
Another great trip to the lake. I told Neal to start looking for a job down there and so he checked but they aren't hiring IM/Peds! Oh well...I guess we will settle for weekend trips!
