Deanna Rose!

A couple of weekends ago we were able to take Blakely to Deanna Rose Farmstead! Wow - what a neat place, I think we will be there a lot in the future! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time!

Recent Tidbits

Blakely got another haircut, this time at a little kids salon! She sat in the pink Jeep, talked on the phone and pushed the petal all while she got her little mullet cut off! haha! She was a little apprehensive at first but did a great job!

Here is Blakely and Ms. Ali - her Toddler teacher. Ms. Ali just left for another job and we snapped a picture of Blakely and her on her last day! Blakely loved Ms. Ali and was so lucky to have such a loving teacher for the past year!

Easter: Part Three

We had a great Easter Day! Blakely surprised us by sleeping in late so we missed morning church. We had some breakfast, cooked some food for Easter brunch and got Blakely all dressed up. Then she went and found her Easter basket and hunted the eggs that the Easter Bunny left for her. She LOVED it and was running to get the next egg! Then we headed to Nannie and Papa's to have brunch with both of our families. Blakely had another Easter Egg hunt there and then it was nap time for everyone. We headed to church at 5pm and home for dinner and bed! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time!

Easter: Part Two

Blakely and I dyed some eggs the Saturday before Easter!

She loved swirling the eggs around in the dye.

Then we headed over to Aunt Kandace's to walk to the park by our house for another Easter Egg Hunt with Nannie and Aunt Kandace.

Blakely was acting silly when we got there.

She was ready to go get some eggs but we got there a little early and they were not ready yet.

So, she ran around.

Then when it was time for the actual hunt she got scared of the Easter bunny and did not want to hunt for eggs. She kept saying "no bunny" over and over and looking for where the bunny was. But, we grabbed some eggs for her anyways.

Easter: Part One

My Mom, Kandace and I took Blakely to the Easter Egg Hunt in my parents neighborhood. It was lots of fun but COLD and WINDY!

Then she took some time to point out all the eggs and forgot about her Easter basket.

Then she was back to picking up more eggs! She had a blast and was a good sport even though it was so cold and very windy!
