We were scheduled for our induction on Wednesday, 11/16/16 at 7am and baby Amelia agreed!!! I started having contractions early that morning around 1am and they were all over the place so I kept timing them but did not think much about it since I knew we were going in anyways that morning. The hospital called around 5:30am and said that they needed to push my induction back because they were so busy. So, I decided to wait a bit longer but the contractions got more regular and more intense so I called them back around 8am and said that I thought I was in labor and they had me come on in! Got to the hospital at 9am and I was IN LABOR, already dilated to a 6! Got the IV fluids and then the epidural about an hour later. Then Dr. Nichols came in and broke my water and started a little bit of pitocin and 30 minutes later I was ready to push! About a dozen pushes later Amelia was born at 11:57am to our surprise and delight!
