Tried multiple toys to distract her and try and get her to sit in her bed, but she was not having it!
Mommy, I just want to stand up and go!!!!
Playing with toys
I had lots like this that were blurry because she would NOT sit still! ha! The joys of an active, walking 11 month old!
So, here we are at 11 months and I can say that I feel good about it, I miss my little baby but I also love the little girl that Blakely is becoming. She is just SOOOO fun and makes friends everywhere! Everyone just loves her so much. I get stopped everytime we are out running errand by strangers telling me how beautiful, adorable, cute, precious....that she is! I just say thank-you, because I realize that she is all of those things and I don't know how in the world we were so blessed by her! As, you can see is WALKING all over! She really hit her stride this month and just goes and goes....she is getting a lot more steady but we still have the trips and falls. If you look at her forehead in the pictures you can see a bruise, which is pretty much a constant but just changes places! It hurts my heart so much when she trips or bumps her head
and I call Neal right away and he is always like "Is she acting normal?" Then I say "I think so." Then he says "Then she is fine." ha! She is also getting more used to wearing shoes, but they slow her down a bit! She has starting signing doggie, by panting and patting her chest, it is so cute! She also waves bye-bye to everyone as soon as you say the words. She is eating more and more table foods, has 3-4 6oz. bottles a day. She has started using a sippy cup with a straw. Blakely is still really good around strangers and new friends, warms up pretty quickly as long as Neal or I are there to start with. She goes to sleep around 7:30 and sleeps until 6 or 7 am! She also takes a good morning and afternoon nap each day and goes to sleep on her own in her crib! Such a good, big girl! Looking forward to her 1st Birthday next month and celebrating with friends and family!
