Blakely is 18 months!

Look at this big girl! Blakely is officially a bonafide toddler! She is wearing some 18-24 months (just barely length wise) but most of her clothes are 2T and 3T!!!! She is so smart and learning so many new things each day. We tried to count up her words the other day but there are too many to list, well over 50. She is still sleeping 7-7 which is wonderful. She takes one nap after lunch for about 2 hours. She eats 3 meals and a couple of snacks throughout the day. Blakely spent a few days with her Grandma and Grandpa Anson and Aunt Lindsay and had a great time! She is calling my mom "Nannie," my dad "Papa," Neal's dad "Grandpa" and Neal's mom is "Nonni or I have heard her say Grandma too." She also started saying "Kyle" but with a southern accent, ha! and Kandace came out "Kandy!" even funnier!

Blakely's favorite word is "NO!" But she also says lots of other cute words. She knows all of her animal sounds, baa, moo, meow, quack, etc... she also knows a lot of her food names except she keeps calling oranges "apples!" haha! She calls all dogs Tucker but has started to realize they all have different names and says Avery every now and then. She is also really loving her Daddy and loves to play with him. If I try and come and join them she puts her hand up and says "stop Mommy." About breaks my heart but I am so glad that she is a Daddy's girl and I still get plenty of cuddles when Daddy is at work. She is very stubborn and when she wants something, she wants it THEN! She has so much personality. She is teething more and more and even getting some of her back teeth and molars. She does really well at feeding herself with a spoon and a fork and we have been working on drinking out of regular cup without a lid. When her food is warm she will blow on it to cool it down. Precious.

She had a wonderful Christmas and loves her new toys especially her kitchen and accessories. She also has been very loving to her baby doll, rocking it, feeding it and patting its back and putting a blanket on it when putting it to sleep. Maybe she is ready for a sibling? jk! She is doing lots of pretend play eating her food and feeding it to us. She repeats pretty much everything we say and has started to say her colors but usually everything is yellow or "yeawoah." She has also starting saying "I peed" when she goes potty in her diaper so we will change her. We are holding off on the potty training till 2 but I think she will do great when its time. She also really loves play-dough and her doll house. Having a toddler is exhausting but it is also so rewarding to see her learning and trying new things!
