So, Trista from The Bachelor named her daughter Blakesley Grace which is pretty darn close to Blakely Grace, which is the name that Neal and I liked! ahhh! Might have to re-think the middle name!
Trista and Ryan have a daughter!!!
Trista and Ryan Sutter have a baby girl, Blakesley Grace Sutter! She was born Friday April 3rd, and delivered by c-section at 1:23 p.m. Blakesley Grace weighed in at 6 lbs., 2 oz and is 19 inches long. The Sutters also have a son, Maxwell ‘Max’ Alston, 20 months.

Week 27!
Here is the info from babycenter.com for week 27:
This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. She's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While her lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if she were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother her, so just relax and enjoy the tickle.
I think we felt the hiccups for the first time on Monday morning, I could barely feel anything and Neal is the one that noticed that they were rhythmic but barely noticeable! I am going to start listening to some classical music and reading to her at night, so she will be as smart at her daddy! I am getting really excited for my upcoming shower and 3D ultrasound! So much to look forward to....

OMG, 98 days left!
Here we are at 26 weeks! I can't believe the ticker says 98 days until her due date, wow, it is weird to be in the double digits. Things are going well, I am starting to get a little more tired and moving a little slower but still feeling really good! I am feeling ready to get going more on her room, we still have a lot to do! Got the invite for my first shower, I am really excited about it.

Week 25!
Here is the info from the bump.com: Let your spouse put an ear to your belly -- he might be able to pick up baby's heartbeat (no stethoscope required). Inside the womb, the formation of tiny capillaries is giving baby a healthy pink glow. Baby's also soaking up your antibodies, getting the immune system ready for life outside the womb. Eyes are forming, and baby will soon perfect the blink -- perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes.Well, we still have not been able to hear her with a stethoscope yet so don't know if Neal just listening would be able to hear anything! I feel like she is packing on some pounds because I SURE AM! yikes!
We have sorta stalled on her room, trying to make decisions about what to put on the walls, I am thinking of hanging letters of her name above the crib with ribbon and then some prints or shelves above the dresser but the thing we need to do the MOST is clean out her closet and get the room organized, her clothes are overflowing from everywhere!
Neal has been on nights which has been pretty rough for him, basically sleeping and working with no time for fun! He has a couple days off at the end of the month which will be nice for him. But, still when he gets home in the morning he puts his hand on my belly and she gives him a nice big kick! Sorta funny! I am in a friend's wedding this weekend which should be lots of fun and I will get to see old KU friends!

24 weeks! Yeah!
I am so excited to be at 24 weeks! It means viability for the baby if she happened to come early, but let's hope and pray that she stays cooking for several more months!!!! It feels like such a relief to get this far for some reason and makes me start to think, "oh my gosh" there is really going to be a baby here soon! I have been feeling good, plenty of energy but recently this week got a nasty head cold that has made me a bit more tired and stuffed up and I really can't take anything but Tylenol for it...she is moving a ton, still mostly in the morning or at night when I am trying to get to sleep, some pretty sharp ones to the ribs too! I LOVE feeling her move/kick/hit.
Here is the info from babycenter.com for 24 weeks:
Your baby's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts her at just over a pound. Since she's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn), she cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but her body is filling out proportionally and she'll soon start to plump up. Her brain is also growing quickly now, and her taste buds are continuing to develop. Her lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help her air sacs inflate once she hits the outside world. Her skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon.
My mom and I went down to Wichita last Friday so I could peruse my favorite baby store, Marshmallow Kisses and also have lunch with some old co-workers (who I miss so much!).

Here is a cute outfit that g-ma Harken got for her! I am sure that she will be an angel if she is anything like me....haha!

The wings button on....

Here are a couple of things from my co-workers, we LOVE the booties and angel! My co-worker is a die hard KSU fan so it was pretty hard for her to buy these!!! But we are glad she did!!!
