Around town and at home...

We had some fun hanging out this summer with little Max, my friend Amy's little baby boy before Amy started teaching this fall.

What cuties

Another friend and her kiddos were in town staying with Amy, so there were lots of friends to play with.

Here is Blakely in our study, she is constantly getting books off the shelf and then putting them back. For now she is really into our "travel" books!

Rearranging the books.

Putting them back! ha!

Happy Friday!

We are looking forward to a weekend filled with NO plans and can't wait! I can't even remember the last time that we did not have a ton of things scheduled or Neal working or myself working! It will be so nice to just catch up on things around home and spend some time together!
Blakely rocking the faux-hawk! Her hair is getting longer and longer and gets all curly in the back, I so hope that she has Neal's curly hair!

Fun in the pool!

Sadly our hot pink inflatable pool is no more, this was the last time we got to use it and you can see in the pictures that it was deflating around us! ha! I think one of the doggies put a hole in it.

Blakely found the water hose and was obsessed!

She thought it was so funny when the water would spray up on her face.

Fun times this summer!

What Blakely has been up to!

Blakely loves playing with her baby doll.

In this picture she is patting baby's back!

She carries the baby around the house.

Then puts the baby in the stroller for a ride, she evens buckles the baby's seat belt.

Sometimes she uses her baby stroller as a teether! ha!

Playing in her friend Hudson's pool on a playdate.

Loving on her doggies, she LOVES the dogs! She wants to see them first thing in the morning and help let them outside! She has started to say doggies, Avery and Tucker in her little baby language (aka only Mommy and Daddy can understand her)!

Petting her doggies, we are trying to teach her to be gentle. She *pats* them pretty hard.

4th of July!

Here are some very belated pictures from 4th of July, 2010! Blakely's 2nd 4th of July!

We started off the day with some blueberry pancakes, yummy!

Talked on the phone. Blakely LOVES playing with phones, now she has started picking up the phone and bringing it over to you when it rings! I love it!!!!

Daddy and Blakely on the 4th!

Mommy and Blakely getting ready to leave for a 4th of July get together!

We went to my parents house and Neal's parents came over too!

Having some fun outside.

Blakely with her Auntie, Uncle and Mommy.

Our fam with the requisite flag picture. She was starting to get a bit fussy and we had a hard time getting a picture together. I can't tell if she is crying in this picture or fussing!

Playing washers.

Neal lighting some firecrackers, it makes me nervous!

When the fireworks starting going off I went and woke Blakely up and brought her outside to see them! I think she thought it was all a dream...

Brushing our Teeth!

Blakely loves brushing her teeth. She still has just the 2 bottom ones but we think she is working on some on top too! So, we got her a little mini toothbrush and baby toothpaste to start practicing.

In the morning and at night we try to remember to give it a shot. We say "Blakely, let's go brush your teeth" and she RUNS into the bathroom.

She even moves her toothbrush bach and forth on her two little teeth! It's so cute!

Then she rinses her toothbrush off in water and we say "all done" and she starts to cry because she wants to brush more but she has to wait until next time! ha! We hope that she will always loves brushing her teeth and has good oral hygiene, ha!

Out to lunch in Parkville...

We headed up to Parkville to take a look around see what life is like in the "Northland" in case we end up moving that way.

We stopped and ate some lunch with Blakely.

We had a visitor during our lunch...

That visitor upset Blakely or maybe it was Mommy screaming for the goose to get away!

All better.

Blakely goes after her lunch!
