Pumpkin Patch #1

A couple of weekends ago we headed out to the KC Pumpkin Patch! Grandma, Grandpa and Lindsay joined us!

All ready to go on the "train!"

She kept talking about how she picked the pink train!

Next a visit to the animals. Some goats.

How tall this fall?

Playing around on a wooden train.

Going down the pumpkin slide with Daddy!

This girl LOVES to eat, she really enjoyed the funnel cake!

Scouting for the perfect pumpkin!

Found it!

Daddy, Blakely and Grandpa

Blakely also picked out a pumpkin for her baby sister! A green one, not quite ripe yet! haha!

What a great day at the pumpkin patch! I just love this time of year! I can't believe next year we will have two little pumpkins to take to the pumpkin patch.

ZOO

We headed out to the zoo last weekend and had a great time. The weather was beautiful and Blakely LOVED seeing the animals!

Ready to head out to see the animals.

Aww...melt your heart! Blakely and Daddy looking at the polar bear. This was Blakely's favorite animal that day!!!

Riding the tram around the park!

Blakely and Mommy on the tram, it was a great way to get around the zoo especially for this very pregnant Momma.

On the gondola you could look down at the animals! I kept telling Neal "hold onto her tight!"

Zebras

Giraffes

Apes

Blakely rode the tractor around a bit.

Then she rode the carousel, of course Neal found the KU horse!

Blakely and her souvenir, of course its the polar bear! She picked it out all by herself very quickly, she is such a good decision maker. Very different that her Mommy.

With her new polar bear! She has slept with it every night since last weekend.

She was so tired and fell asleep on the car ride home. I am so glad that we got the zoo this year and look forward to many more trips to come with both our girls!

Random...

Here are some random pictures from the past few weeks around the Anson house!

Blakely trying on my old Care Bear Halloween Costume! A little big this year but maybe another Halloween!

34 Week Bump Pic! Whoa Momma! A big difference from the last bump pic, I think.

Daddy and Blakely watching a movie, they both put their arms behind their heads!

We are working on potty training and Blakely LOVES her underwear. We have gotten her to wear them UNDER her clothes now! haha.

Cupcake Date

Neal has been getting ready for his Peds board exam so Blakely and I went on a Mommy/Daughter date so he could have some time to study in a quiet house. First, we went to the park and then went to get cupcakes!

Blakely picked the "pink" one.

Mommy got chocolate and they were yummy! After our cupcakes, we went to the toy store to look around. We had a great afternoon together spending some time together before Blakely's baby sister joins us!

Blakely's 1st Pedicure

Blakely came with my mom and I to the nail salon to get her 1st pedicure! She picked out her color right away and was ready to go!

Mommy and Blakely

She sat so still and just watched the lady paint her toes!

Pretty blue!

Waiting for them to dry, she is such a little girl these days!

6th Anniversary!

Neal and I had a great anniversary weekend! My parents kept Blakely the whole weekend so we could spend some time together and work on the house, sorta a combined babymoon/anniversary weekend! We got a lot accomplished for Baby #2 too! Friday night we went to dinner and saw a movie!

Saturday Neal golfed in the morning and I got a massage then we spent the afternoon working on things at home. Saturday night we went to dinner at McCormick and Schmick's! It was SOOOOO good and we had a great time together.

The famous chocolate bag that I have heard about...and it was yummy! Berries and cream in a chocolate bag!!!! Mmmm...

Also, since the 6th Anniversary is candy so I made Neal a sweets board that has those silly sayings where you put candy in place of the words! Pretty funny.
