2nd Annual Family Baking Day!

We had our 2nd Annual baking day at my mom's house with my sister and my brother girlfriend in December. This year we met for breakfast and then headed to the store to pick up our ingredients and then started baking up a storm! It was a great day and we all went home with some yummy holiday treats!

Princess PJ's

Blakely is obsessed with all things "PRINCESS" right now. So, my parents got her some princess pajamas!

She was so excited she hugged them!!! haha!

She wears them A LOT and she requests princess songs that we have to sing to her when she goes to bed. My favorite to sing is the Jasmine song!

Santa Visit

Neal and I took the girls to Crown Center to visit Santa!

Before you visit Santa there is a Crayola play area that has activities for kids to do. First up, the slide!

So we ended up taking a family Santa picture. After the picture Santa talked to Blakely and she got a bit more comfortable.

Blakely adores her sister and always wants to know where she is and if she can hold her or give her a paci or help change her! It makes my heart so full to see their relationship developing!

Poppy - Our Elf on a Shelf

We started the Elf on the Shelf tradition with Blakely this year! Our elf Poppy (named by Blakely) came at the first of December to keep tabs on Blakely until Christmas. Poppy reports back to Santa each night and then comes back in a different spot each morning until Christmas. So, to introduce Poppy to Blakely we had a special breakfast.

Poppy brought some Christmas coloring books, socks and a movie.

Poppy came to Blakely's stocking the 1st morning! Blakely loved Poppy and finding her each morning. She would wake up and ask where Poppy was and head off to find her. Poppy would often land in some silly places such as on the chandelier, on the Christmas tree or on the kitchen counter eating marshmallows...Blakely would say "She is so silly!"
