We have a side sleeper!

It blows my mind that my baby girl is already 6 months old! That is half a year...I need to get going on planning her 1st birthday party, haha! She has grown up so much in the past month and is doing so many new things! We just started some more food besides cereal, trying peas right now...next up carrots! She is sitting pretty much on her own, but still a little unstable sometimes. She is smiling and laughing so much and showing her feisty little personality. We LOVE it! Sleep has been a little rough, she has started getting up every 3-4 hours again but I think "hope" it is just a stage. But, she has been moving all over in her crib at night. She rolls over onto her side hugging her lovie, it is so cute! But, then sometimes she is turned sideways or the completely opposite direction than we laid her down in! She is rolling both ways and has even started to scoot backwards. She LOVES her exersaucer and has been having lots of fun with the doggies, they love getting petted by her! At her 6 month appointment, she got lots of shots but did SO good, hardly even a cry and then was so happy the rest of the day. She weighed 19 lbs, 1 oz and was 27.5 inches long! So still around the 95-97%.While we were waiting, she tore up the paper on the exam table. I had to tell her Christmas was over and no more ripping paper until her 1st birthday! haha! She is reaching for everything and has started this cute little wave with her hand. We heard her say "dada" this morning on accident as part of her gibberish that she says but it made Neal's day! She loves toys that make lots of noise and reading books. She is also making this funny chopping motion with her mouth, don't know if she is trying to talk or eat but it is hilarious and we crack up every time she does it! The past 6 months have been challenging but so much more rewarding than anything I have ever done. I can't even believe that Blakely is growing up so fast, I try to cherish and live each day in the present because she seems to change overnight! She makes each day so fulfilling and special, her smile makes a hard day melt away and her cuddles are the very best! She reaches up and plays with your face when you are rocking or feeding her and she has started to try and give kisses, very wet kisses, though!

Next up...we need to find a highchair because her thighs don't fit in her Bumbo chair (not that they ever did!) and we are going to be trying lots of new food.
